This certificate provides a broad understanding of network systems security as it applies to the overall enterprise mission, including how to secure mobile wireless computing devices and applications.
Security terms, definitions, concepts, and issues that face government and industry are addressed. Overarching security disciplines, important for a more rounded understanding of security management, are explored. Additional emphasis is placed on cryptography, where students study public and private key algorithms and how they work with network protocols.
