Quantum Computing, M.Res.

The M.Res. in Quantum Computing is a unique program designed to meet the immediate industry need for innovative researchers, quantum engineers, and computer scientists. Professionals will graduate with the skills necessary to become key leaders in the advancement, expansion, and support of this growing industry.

Students in this program will conduct extensive and sustained original research in quantum theory, mechanics, and computing, as well as computer science, mathematics, hardware and software engineering, and physics, to explore the foundational laws and applications within this field.

The M.Res. program is designed as a degree in research where students will quickly become able to engage in leadership, research, and publishing. It is aimed at those that may want to explore research studies before starting a doctorate in research, or those seeking career advancement opportunities through a degree.

The M.Res. in Quantum Computing program is structured for experienced professionals in the Quantum Computing field with an appropriate undergraduate degree. During the program, students will conduct original research in an approved area of Quantum Computing.

The completion of the M.Res. in Quantum Computing program requires the student produce, present, and defend a master’s dissertation after receiving the required approvals from the student’s Committee and the M.Res. Academic Review Board.
