The Executive Master of Science in Cyber Leadership degree is designed to meet the rapidly evolving needs of an ever-changing world of cyber leadership. This executive program combines cyber across multiple areas of leadership and research with an international focus. Students will start each semester and progress as a cohort, completing one course per month during a weekend in a synchronized delivery format via zoom, and be required to upload assignments from the internet into the university’s learning management system to be graded by the instructor. In the latter half of the program, students will be required to participate in a one-week international trip to London led by a Capitol Technology University instructor who will facilitate regional industry experts to provide presentations (flight, hotel, transportation, and food for the international trip are not included in the tuition). At the end of the program, students will be expected to use their acquired skills to complete a major capstone project and provide an individual presentation to the rest of the class.
The Executive Master of Science in Cyber Leadership program provides students with the opportunity to conduct extensive and sustained original research at the highest level in the field of cyber leadership. This program is designed to meet the demands of skilled professionals at mid-level and high-level management positions who will be involved in the advancement, expansion, and support of cyber leadership on a national and international level.
This degree provides a path for Cyber Leadership personnel to explore new ground in the rapidly evolving world of the multiple areas associated with cybersecurity. The university is in a unique position to provide students an avenue to pursue a deep proficiency in these area using an interdisciplinary methodology, cutting-edge courses, and dynamic faculty. Graduates will contribute significantly to the Cyber Leadership field through the creation of new knowledge, ideas, and technology. The Executive MS in Cyber Leadership program is designed as an International Executive degree for highachieving cybersecurity experts in growing leadership positions.
The completion of the Executive MS in Cyber Leadership program requires the student to produce, present, and defend a capstone project after receiving the required approvals from the student’s committee and the review board. All students are required to attend a one-week intensive course overseas where lectures, presentations and seminars will be delivered by international experts in the field.
