Design of spacecraft for different applications and missions. Passive and active devices. Designing with redundancy and reliability. Heating and cooling thermal issues. Power handling, telemetry and communications with antenna design. Propulsion, Thrusters and maneuvering. Command and control systems. Offered during Fall semester only.
