AVT 720 - Aeronautical Accident Investigation Research Proposal and Data Collection 6 Semester Credit Hour(s)
The student will produce a research proposal that is comprehensive in detail and planning for approval by the Academic Review Board (ARB). The proposal will address the research topic, scope and aims, objectives and include a timing plan. Once the ARB is approved, the student will then submit an Institutional Review Board (IRB) document for IRB approval regardless of whether the research will involve human subjects or not. Once the IRB document is approved, the student can begin the data collection portion of the research project. Approved ARB and IRB documents are required milestones to successfully complete this course.
