CRI 601 - Intro Critical Infrastructure Cyber

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) published the Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity (Framework). This course will introduce participants to the key concepts and terms of the framework. The framework describes a program that consists of standards, guidelines, and best practices to manage cybersecurity-related risk in critical infrastructure sectors. The Framework provides a prioritized, flexible, and cost-effective approach that helps to promote the protection and resilience of critical infrastructure and other sectors important to the economy and national security. The primary focus of the course will outline methods to incorporate the framework to the nation’s 16 Critical Infrastructure sectors. Students will complete an analysis related to the framework’s adoption within critical infrastructure sectors.
