Introduces programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Emphasizes ladder diagrams and programming of PLC. Introduces network systems such as DeviceNet, ProfiNet, and ProfiBus. Emphasizes the integration of PLCs in automation systems. Two hours lecture and three hours laboratory.
