Analysis and modeling of digital systems, VLSI, VHDL timing, objects and classes. VHDL-based design processes, concurrent and sequential assignments. Variable modes and operators, entities and architectures, behavioral descriptions. Dataflow, synchronous and asynchronous processes using procedures and sub-functions. Library support packages and generation of test-bench data. Offered during fall semester only. Offered during fall semester only.
