This course examines the scope of the professional facilities manager’s responsibilities. The Facility Manager’s role in relation to an organization’s overall plan. An overview is provided of the fundamental concepts in facilities management and a general understanding of the responsibilities of the profession as to why it is valuable to facility managers. The type of facilities associated with critical infrastructures will be covered. An overview of concepts needed to organize, monitor, communicate and develop a good facilities management program will be introduced.
