SE 321 - Human Computer Interaction

Students learn user-centered design of computer systems with the goal of high usability. Emphasis is on designing systems that are efficient, easy-to-use, enjoyable and effective. Explores the selection of interaction style, hardware, and the use of color, font, text and images. Explores design implications due to user characteristics such as age, dexterity, experience and disabilities. Students learn requirements gathering, prototype building and user testing. A group project is assigned. Offered during Spring semester only. Offered during Spring semester only.
